MANILA, Dec. 30, 2016 – The Christ the King College Youth Symphony Orchestra of Calbayog, Samar will be performing live in Manila on Jan. 18, 2017, Wednesday at 7:00 p.m. at the Santo Domingo Church in Quezon City to raise funds for its performance at the 4th World Apostolic Congress on Mercy (WACOM4).
Performing in one of the biggest and most important churches in Asia and grateful to the Filipino Dominicans of the said church, the CKC-YSO is dedicating the concert to individuals and organizations in Samar, Metro Manila, and in the U.S. who helped make the concert a reality.
Hosted by the Philippines, WACOM4 will be held in four different dioceses, namely: the Archdioceses of Manila and Lipa and the Dioceses of Malolos and Balanga from Jan. 16 to 20, 2017 .
Themed “Communion in Mercy, Mission for Mercy”, the congress will be a great opportunity for the Filipino people, who have strong devotion to the Divine Mercy, “to share our gratitude with the rest of the world,” reads a Nov. 10, 2016 letter from Fr.
