It envisions “a just society celebrating the fullness of life realized with the help of a community embodying Ignatian spirituality” that helps build the nation by forming volunteers, mission area partners, alumni and associates, benefactors, and friends nurturing and living out the Ignatian core values of:

  • service that builds;
  • social justice that empowers;
  • solidarity that unites;
  • simplicity that frees; and
  • spirituality that loves

As a community, JVPFI sends young “men and women for others” professional to under-resourced, far flung mission areas/communities such as the mountains of Bukidnon, the rural places of Samar and in primary/ secondary schools in the Visayas and Mindanao, and other “peripheries” described by Pope Francis.
