PASIG City, Oct. 3, 2013—The Pasig Diocesan Youth Ministry (PDYM) organized the 1st Diocesan Conference for Youth Leaders and Ministers, in a bid to strengthen the relationship of youth leaders and ministers to God, Church and their ministry.
Around 40 young people participated in the seminar held at the Our Lady of Antipolo Retreat House in Rizal, last September 28-29.
The weekend conference delved on collaboration and sharing of ministry mission and practice on youth ministry among parish youth coordinators and leaders in the diocese.
Fr. Joeffrey Brian Catuiran, diocesan youth director, discussed a proposed plan for PDYM to have a sustainable youth ministry in the diocese.
The conference also revisited the past 10 years of PDYM’s existence in view of coming up with concrete plans of action for the diocesan youth in the next coming years.
Iyah Lavilla, youth coordinator of the diocese together with Roden Mansueto, Ella Alfaro, Rosette Marqueses, Jayson Ojeda, Joseph Soguillon, Jc Perez and Peter Capistrano, former youth coordinator, facilitated and organized the conference. (Jandel Posion)
