Noel Cabangon concert to benefit San Lorenzo parish

SAN FERNANDO, Pampanga, August 18, 2015— Singer-song writer Noel Cabangon is holding a concert on Sept 11, Pacita Astrodome, 7:00 p.m. for the benefit of a parish building project here named after Filipino martyr San Lorenzo Ruiz.

The proposed pastoral complex will be used for the parish’s regular feeding of the malnourished children, continous formation of parishioners, among others.

Cabangon, the vice president of the Organisasyon ng Pilipinong Mangaawit (OPM), is known for his songs reflecting social, political, and cultural issues.

Aside from him, the show will also showcase some local artists including “singing priest” Fr. Albert San Jose.

The concert also forms part of the various activities for the upcoming 25th anniversary celebration of the San Lorenzo Ruiz Parish on Nov. 15.

The parish of San Lorenzo caters to the spiritual and moral needs to some 16,000 to 20,000 parishioners in 14 subdivisions including “Home Along the Riles” villages of illegal settlers.

The parish renders free services to the poorest of the poor like free feeding to the malnourished kids, Baptisms, Confirmations, Funerals, among others.
