QUEZON City, May 3, 2015—May being a month especially dedicated to the Blessed Mother, all who consider themselves her children are invited to attend the free Marian talk to be held on May 9, 7:30 a.m.– 4:00 p.m. at the 3rd floor of Cubao Diocese’s Chancery Building, Quezon City.
Hope for Glory
Entitled “Our Resurrection: The Hope for Glory”, as derived from St. Paul’s Letter to the Colossians (1:27), the event is set to encourage participants to reflect on the various aspects of what Our Lady in the book “To the Priests Our Lady’s Beloved Sons” refers to as the“The Eucharistic Reign.”
The complete Pauline verse reads: “To whom God chose to make known the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; it is Christ in you, the hope for glory.”
The event is the second installment in a series of talks designed to help the faithful prepare themselves spiritually ahead of the forthcoming 51st International Eucharistic Congress (IEC) in Cebu in January 2016.
Endorsed by Cubao’s Diocesan Ministry on Formation, the activity is a personal initiative of Fr. Romerico Prieto, which seeks to give anyone interested ongoing formation on “Living Our Consecration to the Immaculate Heart of Mary”.
Furthermore, the Marian talk series responds to the call of the Catholic Bishops’ Conference of the Philippines (CBCP)’s call for the faithful to live out the consecration they made during the nationwide consecration to the Immaculate Heart on June 8, 2013.
“Our consecration to the Immaculate Heart of Mary transforms us interiorly according to the Eucharistic Heart of Jesus, it brings a new birth of Jesus in our hearts and souls; initiating us to the Eucharistic reign whereby we become ‘living hosts,’” Prieto said.
The succeeding quarterly formation talks for 2015 are scheduled on:
