MANILA, Aug. 22, 2016 – “Mary in the History of Salvation” will be the theme of the Marian Encounter Seminar (3rd module) to be held on Sept. 11, 2016 at the University of Sto. Tomas Tan Yan Kee Student Center from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
The topics are:
- “Mary: the Historical Mother of Jesus”;
- “Mary’s Apparitions: A Call to Conversion and Salvation (Lourdes and Fatima)”; and
- “Mary, Mother of Salvation”
The last topic will focus on Our Lady’s role in God’s plan of salvation and will include a discussion on Mary and the eschatological church.
The speakers are Fr. Stephen Cyr Magbanua, O.P., assistant parish priest of Sto. Domingo Parish; Fr. Tereso Campillo, O.P.; and Fr. Edwin Mercado, Dean of Seminarians, Theology Department, San Carlos Seminary.
Fr. Juancho D. Ramos, S.S.S., director of the Congregation of the Blessed Sacrament, will preside over the Eucharistic celebration.
