MANILA, July 18, 2011?After seeing the success of three pro-life rallies in two months in various parts of the province, Zamboanga will hold its fourth one in Dipolog City on July 24.
The event will start with a 1:00 pm registration at the Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Cathedral grounds.
A Eucharistic celebration follows at 2:00 inside the Cathedral, with Dipolog Bishop Jose Manguiran as the main celebrant.
After the Oratio Imperata for the Protection of All Human Life?which has been integrated into the lineup of most pro-life gatherings?is recited, participants will go on a Walk for Life around the city at 3:00.
The Walk ends at Plaza Magsaysay where speakers will tackle issues surrounding the culture of life and the fight against the Reproductive Health (RH) bills pending in both Houses of Congress.
Speakers at the 4:00 forum will be Manguiran, Dr. Rene Bullecer, Human Life International (HLI) Philippines director, and Economics instructor and Law student Jan Louenn Lumanta, who has been speaking at the previous anti-RH demonstrations in other parts of the province.
Closing the day’s event with a prayer will be Msgr. Emigdio T. Socias, Vicar General of the Dipolog Diocese
The most recent pro-life rallies and fora in Zamboanga?initiatives of the different vicariates?were held in Dapitan (July 6), Sindangan (June 29) and Dipolog (May 31). (CBCP for Life)
