MANILA, Feb. 8, 2013—A conference that focuses on the pastoral perspective on New Evangelization will take place in two different provinces this coming April.
Themed “Rekindle the Fire of Love: A Pastoral Perspective on the New Evangelization,” the seminar is a reminder that the faithful need to go back to the sources of Christianity in the context of the Philippine Church as it will rekindle and rediscover the beauty of being a Christian.
The five-day conference will include inputs and reflections on the new evangelization documents, understanding the context of the Philippine Church, society and culture, workshops and best practices and approaches in sacraments, popular devotions, catechesis, liturgies and personal time for prayer and reflection.
Resource speakers are Manila Archbishop Luis Antonio Cardinal Tagle who will give the talk at Bukal ng Tipan, Maryhill in Taytay, Rizal on April 8-12 and Cebu Archbishop Jose Palma who will be the speaker at Bukal ng Tipan in Maryshore, Negros Occidental.
Participants will be asked for a fee of P4,250 for Bukal ng Tipan in Maryhill and P3,750 for Bukal ng Tipan in Maryshore, but early birds can pay P3,250 for the former and P2,750 for the latter until March 15.
