This ensemble will be headed by Maestro Olivier Ochanine.
Oct. 3 is a special date for all Franciscans worldwide since it is the memorial of “Transitus” (or the passing) of the Seraphic Founder, St. Francis of Assisi, who is widely known for his prayer, “Lord, Make me a Channel of Your Peace.”
OFY is among those musical groups inspired by El Sistema of Venezuela, a tested model of how a music program can touch lives and which provides opportunities and development to impoverished youths.
