CALOOCAN City, Dec. 21, 2012—A Chiro division celebrated its annual district day with the aim of imparting the value of camaraderie among members and to detach them from the influence of technology through joyful activities.
Held last December 9 at the Pledge of Love School, the activity was themed “Up Up and a Way”. Kid participants from the Sun Division North Manila District wore cap the whole day to enjoy and feel that they were superheroes for a day.
Participated by 71 kids ages 8-11 from seven local groups, the activity helped participants to appreciate their positive traits through the help of Chiro leaders and the concept of being a superhero for a day.
Participating parishes during the activity were Maria, Ina ng Kapayapaan Parish in Kasiglahan, Montalban, Rizal; Our Lady of Light Parish in Cainta, Rizal; Immaculate Conception Chapel in IVC, Marikina City; Mother of the Redeemer Parish in Deparo, Caloocan City; Immaculate Conception Cathedral Parish of Pasig City; San Antonio Abad Parish in Maybunga, Pasig City; and San Guillermo Parish in Buting, Pasig City.
