GUIGINTO, Bulacan, Jan. 18, 2016 – The Immaculate Conception Major Seminary (ICMAS) in Guiguinto, Bulacan will present a documentary concert titled “Ama Natin” (Our Father) on Jan. 22 and 23, 2016 at the ICMAS seminary gymnasium.

According to Sem. Joseph Franz Dizon, “Ama Natin” over-all-coordinator, “Ama Natin is a documentary concert featuring true to life documentaries of earthly fathers as a reflection of the mercy of Our Father [in heaven]. The storyline will show how mercy is experienced in life, our ‘marketplace’. Through drama, song, and dance, we give tribute to Ama Natin and Jesus Christ.”
According to organizers, the focus of the presentation is to reveal the greatness of the Father’s mercy in relation to day to day affairs. This would be one of the seminary’s contributions in celebrating and promoting the Jubilee Year of Mercy.
The production of the said concert is handled by the whole seminary community. Collaborative efforts of the formation team, the ICMAS seminarians, parents, and seminary personnel contributed to the whole process of the making of the concert.
Majority of the performances will showcase the talents of ICMAS seminarians in singing, dancing, and acting. Even the video and technical presentations will show the different artistic sides of ICMASinos.
“Ama Natin” is a come-back production for the seminary. Its last performance was the Segullah Concert which was held in 2005.
Ama Natin is also a benefit concert for the construction of the ICMAS Library. Proceeds of the said event will be utilized to finance the new edifice.
