ANTIPOLO City, August 7, 2014 – Almost a thousand Antipolo youth vowed to wait for true love and live out the virtue of purity during the Diocesan Live Pure Conference on August 2.
Hosted by the Ministry for Youth Affairs in partnership with the Live Pure Movement, the event, which was held at the Assumption Antipolo School, reminded KaDA (youth from the Diocese of Antipolo) that “love is worth sacrificing and waiting for.”
With the Live Pure Movement’s objective of sharing the “good news of chastity”, the young people of Antipolo made the commitment to discover and live out true love according to God’s wisdom.
Speakers from the Live Pure Movement, Jo Villas, Ej Aguila, Ina Gasgonia, and Jermer Cruz, shared about the true meaning of love and why it requires self-giving and humility.
Some of the event’s highlights included chastity forums; men and women forums, where young men and women had break-out sessions on their unique situations and realities; love forum and open forums regarding relationships, sexuality and purity.
Each session was introduced by video productions and musical numbers from some Live Pure Movement Sessionistas.
